Pontedera | Banksy & Friends: Stories of rebellious artists June 7 – November 9, 2025

From June 7 to November 9, 2025, the PALP – Palazzo Pretorio in Pontedera hosts a new iteration of the exhibition, bringing together over seventy works by international artists united by a shared urgency to challenge conventions, dismantle visual codes, and confront the pressing issues of our time.

Stories of Rebellious Artists is more than an exhibition: it is an invitation to view the world through different eyes — the eyes of those who chose not to remain silent. The show traces a visual journey through countercultural visions, political provocations, and artistic rebellion, with Banksy at its core, surrounded by a constellation of voices that articulate the language of the present.

For this edition, Trium Art Gallery contributes a curated selection of works by six artists whose practices stand out for their expressive power and cultural relevance: Mario Schifano, Donald Baechler, Sara Pope, Patrizia Casagranda, Adam Handler, and Odinakachi Okoroafor. Diverse yet unified, these voices offer deep reflections on image, identity, and the tensions shaping today’s society.

Our contribution becomes part of a broader curatorial narrative — one that embraces complexity and presents an accessible and timely cross-section of contemporary art. Art has the power to question, to inspire, to disrupt: Banksy & Friends proves exactly that.
